Syndication Sanctuary No1 Pty Ltd (Syndication) is in the process of finalising a biobanking agreement under the former Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 (NSW) (TSC Act) with the Minister for the Environment for land on Irwins Road, East Kurrajong.
The total area of the proposed site on Irwins Road is approximately 170 ha, of which Syndication Sanctuary presently anticipates that approximately 100-120 ha will become a biodiversity stewardship site to generate both ecosystem and species biodiversity credits.
Under the Biodiversity Conservation (Savings and Transitional) Regulation 2017 (NSW) (Transitional Regulation), the proposed biobanking agreement will be taken to be a biodiversity stewardship agreement (BSA) under the new Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 (NSW) (BC Act).
The biodiversity credits the subject of this Request for Tender (RFT) process are to be created in accordance with the BC Act.
Syndication Sanctuary is seeking tenders from parties interested in purchasing the credits under the NSW statutory biodiversity offsets scheme established by the BC Act.
Syndication Sanctuary invites parties to submit one or more binding offers to enter into a put and call option deed for the purchase of biodiversity credits generated from land at Irwins Road (Put & Call Option Deed), in accordance with this Information Memorandum (IM).
A copy of the Put & Call Option Deed is annexed to this IM.
